About me

Mural have held a fascination in me since young. I was born at Chingoli near Haripad in Kerala state of India. I spent most of my childhood holidays at Parumala near Panayannarkaavu Bhagavathy Temple which is well known for centuries old mural paintings. I have always admired the intricate nature and beauty of these paintings. Later I tried my hands at reproducing those images imprinted in my mind since childhood.
Drawing was a passionate hobby I earnestly pursued in my school days and also took part in art competition in school days.
At 18, I have joined Indian Navy where I keep my hobby to keep myself engaged in my free time. After settling in Singapore, I have invested more time to study mural in depth and spent time exploring its beauty.
Kerala style mural paintings ivery unique art form done in five colours and date back to over a thousand years. The style stands out for its emphasis on beauty, clarity and symmetry.
My work in Kerala traditional mural paintings were exhibited in 'Varnam' annual exhibitions sin 2013 in Singapore, an art exhibition 'Unity in Diversity' at National Library in 2016 and Palettes of Passion at Siglap CC in Singapore in 2016.
